Worm&Gear Grinder Technical Descriptions
The CNC gear and worm gear profile grinding machine is equipped with a top-class CNC system, realising seven-axis and three-linkage control.
The rotary motion of the workpiece, the transverse motion of the table, the rotary motion and linear motion of the helix lifting angle, the longitudinal motion of the grinding wheel holder, and the rotary motion and linear motion of the diamond roller are all driven by YASKAWA servo motors from Japan.
The diamond roller is controlled by DC brushless motor. The rotary motion of the grinding wheel spindle is driven by Bexley internal AC permanent magnet synchronous motor.
The rotary motion of the workpiece, the transverse motion of the worktable, the rotary motion and linear motion of the spiral angle of lift, the longitudinal motion of the grinding wheel holder, and the linear motion of the diamond roller are all equipped with Spanish FAG scales to realise full closed-loop control.
The rotary motion of the workpiece and the transverse motion of the worktable are two-axis linked to realise two-axis linked gear and thread motion.
The longitudinal motion of the grinding wheel frame, the rotary motion of the diamond roller and the linear motion realise three-axis linkage interpolation, and the rotary diamond roller realises the dressing of all kinds of grinding wheels’ truncated shapes, and the dressing amount of the grinding wheels can be automatically compensated by the transverse motion of the grinding wheel frame.
Innovative Technology in Worm&Gear Grinding
CNC technology controls the grinding wheel’s dressing process. Options include using a motorized diamond dressing wheel or a diamond profile roller tailored to the workpiece. Automatic dressing programs manage the dressing, incorporating compensation for the grinding wheel. Concurrently with the loading operation, a dressing device can be employed for dressing the corundum grinding wheel, thereby minimizing the time spent on auxiliary processes.
